Pedro Moura Simão has a Master’s degree in Architecture and has been working exclusively as a Photographer and Art Director since 2018, after several years working in Fashion and Cinema, both documentary and fiction films.
As a Creative, he’s often interested in the thin boundaries between staged and spontaneous events, to promote playful happenings with clothing, objects or circumstances and to explore meaningful relationships between subject and context, where architecture and landscape are frequently the starting point for new experiences.
Driven by an analog approach to image-making, Pedro’s aesthetic has a slightly nostalgic sensibility and his formal qualities and artistic outlook reflect his education in architecture and cinema and unveils a pluralistic knowledge of painting, photography, fashion and design.
Pedro collaborates with the Portuguese fashion designer Mara Flora frequently and has photographed for Dior, Mansour Martin and Vogue Portugal.
