Cláudia Barros is a portuguese fashion stylist, but first a storyteller. Since an early age she was passionate about arts in general. She studied visual arts in High School and later switched to Fashion Design, holding a BA and MA in Fashion Design. She started working at Vogue Portugal as an intern and after two rewarding years, she decided to move on her own and became digital stylist at the high luxury boutique Fashion Clinic. After one year working at the company, Cláudia shifted her career path to freelance stylist, where she contributed to several publications, including Vogue Portugal, Elle Portugal, Slimi Magazine and Máxima. When Vogue Portugal was re-launched on August 2017, she was invited to join the new team, first as Fashion Editor and then Fashion Director, position that she held until April 2019.
Currently, she works as a freelance stylist and creative director. For her, fashion is a way to communicate without words, telling the underline feelings through narratives. Cláudia Barros is known for her innovative work in fashion styling.
