Ana Caracol is a Lisbon based freelance creative director, fashion, and still life stylist for both fashion and beauty. In 2002, after obtaining a degree in fashion design from the Lisbon University of Architecture, she had the opportunity to join the team that launched Vogue in Portugal. She has worked for 20 years in this project, which has introduced and changed the perspective of Portuguese consumers towards the fashion industry in the country.
For the past 20 years, Ana Caracol has worked in Vogue's fashion department as a fashion and still life stylist. However, in the last 4 and a half years, alongside her work at Vogue Portugal, she has also performed the role of the fashion editor of GQ Portugal and a creative director of some commercial fashion films for both Vogue and GQ Portugal. She has worked with brands such as New Balance, Samsung, Tous, Adidas, Levi’s, and Havaianas. In addition to her work at Vogue Portugal, Ana Caracol has also taught fashion styling and fashion trends in the master of fashion design at Instituto Politécnico of Castelo Branco. She has also done styling for videoclips and album covers for artists from Universal Music, as well as her ongoing work as a creative director and stylist for Portuguese Soul and digital content producer for Stivali Lisboa.
